Lyra x Paraform

For a week in May, the Paraform team joined us in the office and spent five days building alongside our team. There is something valuable about sharing a workspace with people tackling similar challenges. You overhear conversations, see how different teams approach problems, and pick up new ways of thinking without even trying. The week quickly became more than just work with coffee runs turning into daily routine and ideas were constantly exchanged between teams. We learned a lot from each other, from product thinking and execution to the small habits that make great teams effective.By the end of the week, it no longer felt like two separate companies sharing an office. It felt like one community of people building ambitious things together and we want to do it again, soon.

We Went Viral

Then Instagram did its thing with jacob's software sauce hitting 40,000 views and still climbing. Anthony's is creeping up right behind it, a few thousand more every time someone checks. We did not plan for either of them to hit the way they did. Turns out if you let an engineer talk about the one thing they actually nerd out over, people watch.

Software Sauce Keeps Cooking

Software Sauce is the one where we sit an engineer down in front of a camera and let them teach the thing they are insanely good at. Jerry went first this month and walked through his corner of the stack. Anthony Kim went after him and got so far into the weeds that 20k+ people kept rewinding to catch what he actually said. The full version lives on YouTube, the cut down bits go on Instagram and LinkedIn. The waitlist of people wanting to get filmed is getting genuinely silly.

Dev Digest, Every Week

Dev Digest did not skip a single week which we are weirdly proud of. Every week we round up the AI and software engineering bits worth knowing and write them like a person would, not a press release. Basically the version you would get if you grabbed a coffee with one of us and asked what we had been reading lately. They pile up fast, so just start anywhere.

Life at Lyra

Lyra Recaps kept going across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, the quick unfiltered look at a normal week around here. We also put out a What is Lyra piece, mostly because people keep asking and the real answer never fits in one line. Honestly the best way to get it is to watch a week of us, so we keep pointing cameras at ourselves and hoping it makes sense.

Welcome to Lyra

The room got bigger again. Three new faces landed this month and we did proper intros for each of them across socials. Every new person shifts the place a little. A new skill, a new sense of humour, someone new to lose to in a club they joined last Tuesday.
